Welcome to Ohakune Bike and Hike Tours

Ohakune Bike and Hike is an ‘all inclusive’ local company with local knowledge that offers bikers and hikers a FREE itinerary and booking service (just like a travel agency). We will organise your trip from; bike hire and accommodation through to your transport needs, and because we are locals we have all the knowledge of the area and can help with just about anything in between.
We understand that everyone has different needs, whether they are full-on adrenaline junkies, family oriented adventurists or retirees, looking to spend some time enjoying the stunning scenery biking (or hiking) in this area. And because of this we will design your itinerary based on your individual requirements taking the guess work out of your trip...leaving you with the most important job...HAVING FUN!
How It Works: Ohakune Bike and Hike operates just like a travel agency. You call or email us your requirements: your dates, approximate level of fitness, desired level of accommodation, and whether you require bike hire, bike accessories and bike transport, then we will work with you to build an itinerary based on your individual needs. Once you are happy with your itinerary, payment is made directly to us, then you just sit back and relax as we organise it all for you.
Why Ohakune? Ohakune is a small town with a big reputation for providing simply stunning scenery (at the base of the infamous Mt Ruapehu) as the back drop to those seeking an adrenaline getaway, or for those just wanting a more relaxing holiday or escape. Ohakune has something to cater for all tastes. It is an outdoor paradise with a wide range of activities, accommodation, cafes and restaurants to please everybody.
